2. Purchase Yureka from Amazon India on the day of fourth sale on 5th February, 2015 from the  Yureka Sales Page.

3. After the phone is delivered to YU, post a snapshot of how you've customized your Yureka, ( could be anything notification bar, menu, homescreen etc)

4. Share this contest.

Distribution : (40% Snapshot, 40% Activity on our Page, 20% Sharing the Contest).

Terms & Conditions :

1. The contest link will be posted on our FB Page on 5th Febraury at 1 PM, you need to purchase the phone from our link.

2. The contest duration will be from 5th February, 2015 to 15th February, 2015, as Amazon takes 4-7 days to deliver Yureka.

3. Only those buying the phone on fourth sale will be eligible. ( We already ran a contest for previous sale Customers.)

4. Total prize money will be proportional to the number of contestants by the ratio of 50. If there are 10 participants in the contest the total prize money will be ₹500 and for 100 participants it will be ₹5000 and so on with no upper limits, we may increase the ratio depending on the total participants.

5. Winners will be announced on 17th February, 2015.

6. Decision of the the YSP Team will be final and no query will be entertained regarding this.

7. We reserve the right to change the terms & conditions without any prior notice.

How to choose Memory card with Right Class for Your Phone





As you must have seen labels class 10, class 4 written on your memory cards, today we are going to explain what exactly they mean and how to choose the best SD card according to phone to achieve optimal performance of both your phone and the cards.

SD Association founded in the year 2000 by Panasonic, Toshiba, and SanDisk. The Association does not manufacture, market or sell any product; it exists to create standards and then promote the adoption, advancement and use of SD standards used by competing product manufacturers that make interoperable memory cards and devices.

In the table below you will see the minimum writing speed that must be and how they affect the storage quality. So if your phone supports HD Recording, you must at least buy a class 4 SD card though we would suggest going for at least Class 6 for your Yureka. Also since the recording capability of the mobile devices will increase in the near future, it will be better to go for higher class to ensure longevity of your memory cards.

[Guide] [WINDOWS] Easily Port Boot.img - With Screenshots

Download the software from below link and copy to a new folder . example : boot_edit

Click Here To Download

Copy your stock boot.img to the "boot_edit" folder

Open " Boot_edit " folder then Press SHIFT + RIGHT BUTTON .
If you are on windows 7 , then try  CTRL + RIGHT BUTTON
.
Select " Open command window here "






Write down or copy-paste this code to the CMD window and press Enter

bootimg.exe --unpack-bootimg boot.img



Now you have unpacked your boot.img !





Now copy everything except Bootimg.exe (the app) to a new folder .  example : stock boot

Now copy your boot.img from Port rom ( the rom u want to port ) to "Boot_edit" folder and unpack boot.img (Same way you unpacked stook boot.img )


After completing unpack operation , Replace a file called "kernel " from your stock boot to port boot.img





In some case , if you get a bootloop , replace a file from stock to port called " ueventd.rc " too . (boot_edit/initrd/ueventd)
* Replace this file to port cm12.1 / Miui v7

For Cross Porting Only (mediatek)  :  (ignore it if you are porting from same sock )

Open init.rc with Notepad++ and press CTRL + F
And write down your port rom's chipset  version .
If you are porting a rom from 6592 to 6582
Then search with "6592" and replace them with 6582 . Then save it .




Now It's time to repack your Boot.img .

Write down or copy-paste this code to CMD and press Enter

bootimg.exe --repack-bootimg

You are done !! You will get a file called " boot-new " . This is your patched boot.img .

How to install Moto G 2014 Lollipop Official OTA Update (5.0.2, for XT 1068)

Moto G 2014 Official Lollipop OTA Update [ version :5.0.2, model : XT1068 ]

As Motorola has promised that all the Moto variants ( Moto E, Moto G, Moto X) from 2013 as well as 2014 versions will be updated to Lollipop. Just recently Moto X, 2014 got the Lollipop so it is just a matter of time before Moto G gets one.
Though if you're like me and can't wait for the latest iteration of OS from Google, folks over at XDA have captured the 5.0.2 version used for the soak test on Indian version of  2nd Gen Moto G or more specifically for the XT1068 model.

If you want to get your hands on it the procedure is simple and painless,takes approx 30 minutes.

You need to download the zip file form any of these link : (400 MB)

After downloading copy the zip file into the internal storage of your phone.
Then go to Settings --> About Phone --> System Updates

Yureka First Sale Details

Complete details on first sales of Yureka on 13th January, 2015


As we speculated earlier, a total of 10,000 units will be on sale tomorrow on Amazon India for the first ever slae of Yureka by YU Telecoms running Cyanogen OS. Though such large amount may still leave thousands of fans disappointed as the total registered customer is believed to be in Lacs. Though Rahul Sharma, CEO of newly found YU Telecom has assured that the numbers will increase multiple times in the subsequent sales.

As announced during the launch event on 18th December a hand made genuine leather case worth ₹999 will be provided free to all those buying the phone on first sale.

A total of 7500 units of brown back cover and 2500 units of black back cover will be available tomorrow.
Although neither Amazon nor YU has clarified whether customers will choose the covers or they will randomly assigned.

We are trying to clarify the situation and update as soon as possible.

Update : The back covers will be given in a random manner, as the number of brown covers are more than black chances of getting brown one is high.
