Reliance Jio Preview is the hottest thing in the country right now. Everyone in India is looking to get their hands on the newly launched Jio Sim. "Jio Preview Offer" in which the company is offering a 90 days unlimited HD Voice & Video calling, unlimited SMS, unlimited High-Speed Data and a host of Jio Premium apps for free. Offer which was limited to Jio device only till last month has now been extended to 15 more brands which includes Samsung, YU, Xolo, Sony among others. How to get a Jio Sim
Jio Sim as on 30th August is available for 16 different brands with approximately 100 different models. First thing you need to do is check whether your device is eligible for a free Jio Sim. Check the complete list here: List of Jio Preview Partners
All the YU device currently available in the market is eligible for Jio Preview Offer with the exception of Yunique Plus. Check out: List of YU device with Jio Preview Offer
If your device is eligible for Jio Preview Offer next step is to install the MyJio App on your device. You need to install the app on eligible device to generate the bar code.
After the installation, open the MyJio App, click on Get Jio Sim (you'll only see this option on eligible devices). Fill in the relevant details like name, mobile number and click next. You'll be prompted for location after which a bar code will be generated exclusive to your device.
Once you have the bar code take a colored print out of the same along with photo copy of relevant identity and address proof and a photograph to your nearest Relaince Jio Store. You can find the nearest store using the MyJio App installed earlier.
The store staff will verify your details and provide you with Jio Sim. Once your application is submitted you need to wait 24-48 hours for activation of your Jio number.
How to activate Jio Preview Offer with unlimited access
After the successful submission of your form you will receive two different SMS on your alternate number. One to confirm the submission of your application and another informing that number is ready for activation.
Once you get the activation SMS put your Jio Sim in the primary slot of your device and wait for network. After receiving the connectivity dial 1977 from your Jio Sim and follow the instructions to verify your connection. Alternatively you can also dial 1800-890-1977 for the activation of just data services.
After the successful verification you'll receive a text about the first recharge(FRC) which will give you 2GB data along with 100 minutes of phone calls and 100 SMS.
To activate the unlimited offer you now need to open MyJio App installed earlier and register yourself.
Afterwards you'll see a list of Jio Exclusive app like Jio OnDemand, JioMag, JioXpressNews, JioBeats etc. We recommend you to install all the apps and login to each of the apps individually using your Jio Id. Once the installation of all the apps is complete you will get another SMS indicating the same. You can also use MyJio App to check out your usage and pack details.
