YUOS is the open-source OS initiative by YU which allows developers from around the world to come together and contribute towards building a forked version of Android suitable for YU devices. After months of work YU has finally released stable build of Android Marshmallow for Yunique. This is a step by step guide on how you can install YUOS on your device. Note: Please take a backup of your device and do a factory reset before install a new ROM to your device. We're not responsible for failed installation or hard bricked device. Install at your own risk.

Method 1: Using Flashing Tools

Steps to flash factory image

1. Download the Marshmallow factory image fastboot package for YU Yunique (YU4711) from here
2. Download this flashing tools package from here
3. Extract the contents of the flashing tools zip and factory image into one folder
   Make sure all the files from both the zip are in the same folder
4. Connect your phone in fastboot mode using following steps:
   Power off your phone
   Press and hold the Volume Up key
   Connect you device to PC/Laptop and select Fastboot mode
5. Run flash-all.bat file extracted earlie
   A command window will open and flashing procedure will start
   DO NOT disconnect the device during flashing procedure
   The command window will close after the flashing process is over.
6. Disconnect the USB cable, and boot the phone normally by long pressing the Power button.

Method II: Using Command Prompt

Flashing Instructions for Yunique (YU4711)

Open a command prompt and use the following steps:

Connect device in fastboot mode
adb reboot bootloader

Check if device is detecting in fastboot mode
fastboot -i 0x2A96 devices

Unlock bootloader fastboot -i 0x2A96 oem unlock

fastboot -i 0x2A96 flash boot boot.img

Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 based YUOS ROM now available YU Yureka, Yuphoria, Yunique, Yutopia 

YUOS Android Marshmallow now available

YUOS, or Project Highway is the in-house open source developers program by which allows developer from anywhere work on existing ROM developed by YU Team. It gives developers access to and total control over the source code to tinker with and modify and improve it as per their requirements. The resultant YUOS is a product which is not only unique but is also tested by a plethora of developers. The project which was announced back in May along with Yunicorn launch has seen contributions from developers from around the globe and now that work has came to fruition as stable builds for Yureka/Yureka Plus, Yuphoria, Yunicorn are finally available along with nightly builds for YU Yutopia.

YUOS combines the best of both world as it gives access to nighties from developers along with the stable build developed by YU Team which combines all the best features from the individual and optimize them into one build allowing the users best OS experience. This is what makes Android so popular, this level of customization and forking is impossible with any other existing OS. The best part you can contribute to this project as both developer and end user. As a developer you get make to make cool new stuff and as end user you have brand new Android experience and could give code reviews to report for any possible bugs which can be fixed later by the development team.

This is a very right step by YU not only it allows for unique OS experience to YU customers but also grants YU control over the timing and duration of the update which was lacking with Cyanogen OS. Hopefully Marshmallow is not the last update and we hope all YU devices get Android 7.0 Nougat update as well. The Oneplus 3T is the new name of the Smartphone released by the Company Oneplus. This new product has currently been launched and currently been put for sales in US, UK and Europe. With the advances in technology have come advances in the way companies market their products and services. One innovation that is current getting a lot of attention is cross-device marketing.
