Big display, dual cams


Lenovo has added another member to its Phab series with the launch of Phab 2 Plus smartphone in India. The highlight of the device is its massive 6.4-inch display and the dual camera setup it comes with. To recall, the device was initially launched at Lenovo Tech World Conference that happened in June earlier this year along with Phab 2.

Talking about the hardware specifications, it sports a huge 6.4-inch full HD (1920x1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT8783 processor coupled with 3 GB RAM. It has 32 GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded upto 128 GB using a microSD card.

In the camera department, the Phab 2 Plus has a 13- megapixel rear dual camera setup along with Fujitsu Milbeaut image signal processor for Augmented Reality (AR)-like effects, dual LED flash, auto focus and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) while the front facing camera is of 8 megapixels. The dual-SIM (two nano SIM) device is backed by a 4050 mAh battery which is expected to last up to 23 hours of talk time and 17 days of standby time and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

It is topped with connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, a 3.5 mm audio jack and GPS and is also accompanied by a fingerprint sensor. It also comes with in-built 360-degree voice feature and the Dolby Atmos Technology for a great audio experience. It measures 174x88x6.0 mm and weighs 218 grams.
